The Estimation Manager will play a crucial role in evaluating and estimating the time, resources, and costs necessary to implement software solutions based on detailed specifications or functional requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in software development and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in project estimation. This role requires close collaboration with technical teams, Software Architects, and client-facing personnel to ensure that estimations are accurate, and risks are mitigated.
Core Responsibilities:

Accurately estimate the time and resources required to implement solutions based on the project specifications or functional requirements.
Work closely with the technical team and Software Architect to assess the complexity of solutions, enhancing the accuracy of estimations.
Validate estimations with the technical team and other involved colleagues with expertise to ensure reliability.
Analyze, communicate, and mitigate potential risks related to the solution implementation.
Suggest solutions for identified risks and ensure their inclusion in the project proposal.
Develop technical and financial offers based on estimations and present them to clients when necessary.
Collaboration with the Commercial Business Partner, Digital Transformation consultant, etc., to ensure that the estimated functionalities align with client requirements and expectations.
Participate in client negotiation sessions, providing solutions that offer the best value.
Document all processes and procedures related to the estimation and bidding process.
Regularly review and update estimation processes and methodologies to identify and implement improvements for efficiency.
Monitor actual costs and resources used against initial estimates to identify deviations and implement corrective measures.
Report to the division manager and/or Board of Directors as per the company’s internal procedures.

What are we looking for:

Experience in software development, with understanding of various programming languages, frameworks, methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical requirements.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of presenting complex technical and financial information clearly and confidently.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including technical, business analysis, and client-facing teams.
Experience in risk analysis and mitigation within project estimation and implementation.
Strong documentation skills, with the ability to maintain detailed records of estimations, processes, and outcomes.
Proficiency in English is required.
