Event manager at technovator

About the Role
Technovator is looking to hire an Event Manager for a full-time job in our team. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain significant experience in operational management within a dynamic environment.

What you’ll do
Supervise and ensure the successful execution of Technovator programs and events.
Manage relationships with mentors and participants, ensuring all parties are effectively engaged and supported throughout our programs.
Handle the preparation and management of contracts, coordinating with the team to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Conduct offers requests and manages communications and negotiations with service providers to secure quality services and materials needed for events and operations.
Actively participate and supervise events, ensuring that they run smoothly

What you’ll need
Enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business administration, management, marketing or related field.
Understanding of operational processes and principles, preferably within a non-profit or event management context/volunteer experience.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to details.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, able to attend events outside of regular hours
Experience in handling contracts, tenders, and negotiations with vendors is preferred but not mandatory.
