Definition of the role:
As a Silverbird Sales Executive, you will build relationships with our prospective customers, convey Silverbird’s compelling value proposition, and generate a constant healthy pipeline of potential mid to large businesses to onboard with Silverbird.
This is a quota-carrying role.
What the job involves:
- The goal for Sales Executive at Silverbird is bring in new high volume customers through strong selling, value prop and influencing skills.
- Achieving and exceeding monhtly/quarterly quota expectations tied to new business activations and revenue generated.
- Owning the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach through closed deal
- Hunter mentality with a focus on driving new sales prospects pipeline in the assigned target market using multi channel outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, others).
- Understand the Silverbird product offering, target market, and customer use cases enough to provide a high-level compelling introduction and create interest.
- Maintain excellent standards and detained information in CRM system (Hubspot).
- Collaborates with the wider sales team to execute cross-territory and cross industry sales campaigns.
- Report to the sales manager with daily, weekly, and monthly results.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Sales Executive or in a Business Development position (3+ years).
- Proven track record of delivering and exceeding against targets, with a strong focus on outbound performance.
- Superb writing, communication, and listening skills both on phone and email, with an ability to adapt your style to different audiences and in different contexts.
- Outstanding time management skills with a high degree of autonomy.
- Creative, out of the box thinker, with a problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
- High level of empathy - it's important for our Sales Executive to be a good person to peers and prospects.
